Directs all aspects of the company's inside inbound sales, outbound sales and customer service call center activities including developing, implementing and directing direct marketing campaign telemarketing programs, procedures and initiatives. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and trends and implements new technology, programs and processes to continually increase the success of the company's telesales initiatives and exceed plan. Creates and directs a sales and service oriented business culture where the needs of the customer are the primary focus of all staff members. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for the sales and customer service teams. Responsible for achieving the sales and growth targets for the assigned region and for the effective launch of new solutions to grow the business. Responsible for creating an annual strategic sales plan as well as for creating individual sales goals and personal growth targets. Responsible for determining the staffing requirements to properly implement the strategic plan and achieve all revenue and profit targets. Ensures the meeting of sales objectives, while managing costs. Provides direction to the key account, new business development and solutions specialists and assists them in closing deals as required. Assists in developing short- and long-range goals and objectives of the organization. Management responsibilities may include multiple sales and customer service specialists and/or partnership arrangements between the company and global accounts which results in economic gain for both companies.
