Refinery29 is looking for a talented Staff Writer who will work closely with the site's Deputy Editor, Managing Editor, and senior editorial staff to write and produce a variety of content across multiple verticals. Candidate will oversee syndication, manage partnerships with major media outlets, market research, and implementation of social media strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

Write, edit, and produce 35+ stories a month, across a myriad of verticals

Pitch article ideas

Keep a sharp eye on performance, social media strategies, and audience growth and engagement

Work closely with SEO team to conceive original content and strategies that engage the R29 audience

Manage syndication partnerships and content placement with a variety of high-profile sites

Monitor user behavior via a variety of reporting tools

Pitch article ideas in fashion, shopping, style, and beauty, as well as other lifestyle categories including home, dining, and entertaining

A minimum of 2 years in a blogging and/or online production/media role 

A healthy addiction to the Internet, fashion, and pop culture

Experience working with social media and SEO strategies

Strong, almost-obsessive knowledge of fashion, shopping, style, and beauty, as well as other lifestyle categories including home, dining, and entertaining

Must be quick on his/her feet with a real talent for generating and finding fresh engaging content not just daily, but hourly

Must be highly organized

Must be team-oriented, responsive, and comfortable collaborating, but also able to work independently
