Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Junior DevOps Engineer/Developer Technical Support. You will improve developers' productivity by creating and fine-tuning open-source tools, automating workflows and repetitive tasks and by helping them troubleshoot our codebase and their desktop setups. As we grow our cloud presence, you'll also help us automate and scale our infrastructure to new levels. But you are not alone: we will teach you the tools that automate infrastructure deployment, manage application configuration, and monitor services.

  • Knowledge of Mac OS X
  • Knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu or Redhat/CentOS)
  • PHP programming skills
  • Scripting capabilities (e.g. Python, Bash, or Ruby)
  • Ability to be on-call when required


Nice to Have

  • Familiar with Vagrant and/or other local virtualization engines
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Node.js, Java
  • Hands on experience with AWS Services
  • Familiar with deploying services such as RabbitMQ, Solr, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL
  • Knowledge of Web Frameworks
  • Knowledge in a provisioning or automation framework (i.e., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Networking and Monitoring Services
  • Experience operating in a 24x7 service
  • Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
