Job Description

Refinery 29, Inc. is seeking a detail oriented and hands-on individual that will provide support to company’s FP&A function and other key initiatives in the Finance organization.  This position primarily assists in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts;  managerial and investor reporting on monthly and quarterly basis; providing decision support to businesses in areas of  revenue modeling, cost tracking and margin analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes, including defining timelines, setting templates, data validation and collection, managing Host Analytics for reporting purposes
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly managerial and investor reporting, including financial results and operational metrics analysis, board meeting material preparation
  • Partner with business managers across the company and provide decision support by generating financial data and analysis that lead to cost saving, better resource allocation or better processes and procedures
  • Help develop and maintain business and financial models to support decision making processes and external negotiations
  • Identify and facilitate implementation of best practices in areas of financial planning and financial reporting
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Finance management

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • 2+ years of financial management and budget management experience preferably within digital media industry
  • Additional public accounting experience a plus
  • Self-starter, quick learner, highly motivated, understands and follows directions well
  • Experience with Netsuite and/or Host Analytis/Adaptive Planning a plus
  • CMA or CPA a plus
