Job Description
Position Summary: The Budget Analyst Intern will assist the accounting department with Report Preparation and Budget Analysis.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and Import budgets into the accounting software
- Assist with creation of financial reports, budget vs actuals
- Assist with preparation and posting of journal entries
- Provide office support for Finance department as needed
Qualifications
- Advanced Knowledge of Excel and basic accounting skills
- Professional demeanor
- General knowledge of world affairs and international/intergovernmental institutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work minimum of 15 hours; M-F flexible schedule
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program related to Finance or Accounting preferred but not required; All majors and grades are encouraged to apply.
Additional Information
Salary: Unpaid, monthly transportation stipend and academic credit available
