Job Description

Position Summary: The Budget Analyst Intern will assist the accounting department with Report Preparation and Budget Analysis.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and Import budgets into the accounting software
  • Assist with creation of financial reports, budget vs actuals
  • Assist with preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Provide office support for Finance department as needed


Qualifications

  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel and basic accounting skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • General knowledge of world affairs and international/intergovernmental institutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to work minimum of 15 hours; M-F flexible schedule
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program related to Finance or Accounting preferred but not required; All majors and grades are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

Salary: Unpaid, monthly transportation stipend and academic credit available
