Job Description




  • IT Support Analyst is responsible for first line communication with the end user community
  • Will be familiar with complex problems regarding Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office products
  • Manage Active Directory, file security, Citrix farm
  • Manage daily back up, monthly back up of total system
  • Practice DR plan
  • Respond and solve user support calls
  • Troubleshoot hardware, network and security related problems
  • Assist with implementation of new software/hardware upgrades
    Prepare and deliver user training and documentation 
  • Familiar with our trucking and warehousing products to provide support for level one and level two issues
  • Ability to travel as necessary, based on project needs
  • Make suggestions for improvement




  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
  • MCSE certification would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
  • Experience working in a Helpdesk/support environment
  • Experience working in Microsoft Terminal Server and/or Citrix Presentation Server environments
  • Experience supporting Windows OS's (XP Pro, Vista & 2003,2008 server)
  • Experience supporting RF scanners
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL and DB2), knowledge of SQL is      required
  • Working knowledge of Exchange/SharePoint would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of networking, VLAN and firewalls
  • Experience in developing and creating programs and Crystal reports
  • Experience with Datex WMS and/or TruckMate TMS is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under pressure in a deadline
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends when required
  • A valid driver's license and car
