Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Web Content Writer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a talent for crafting creative and engaging content. The position’s primary purpose will be to spearhead content development initiatives for Restoration Media corporate brand and across our web properties. The candidate will work closely with our business development, operations, and development teams to create branded content for our web properties, social media campaigns, press releases, marketing, and human resources, and recruiting materials. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious writer to gain diverse experience on a growing media and marketing team.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft web-ready content to represent our corporate brand and company-owned web properties

  • Create succinct yet compelling copy for landing pages and email templates

  • Continuously research, observe, and analyze industry trends and news to develop relevant content to help guide our company and brand message

  • Brainstorm and develop custom brand content initiatives and campaigns

  • Learn new SEO techniques and incorporate them into a compelling content development strategy

  • Write regular blog posts and continuously generate blog topics

  • Manage content development of white papers and industry specific pieces

  • Prepare and distribute press releases

  • Develop strategies to increase engagement and interaction with our brand and web properties

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in Journalism, English, or Communications preferred

  • Professional writing sample required; examples of your work online would be a great plus!

  • Excellent writing and communications skills

  • 1+ year of professional writing, including web-writing and experience with social media channels

  • Strong knowledge of social media

  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and best practices for website content development

  • Ability to handle heavy writing workload with minimal supervision

  • Experience working with brands and writing branded content

  • Strong and adaptable writing skills with the ability to write professionally and creatively

  • Impeccable grammar

  • Strong research skills
