Job Description

The Sales Trainer is a unique opportunity as it reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer and will be responsible to plan, conduct, and coordinate training to field sales personnel as well as provide coaching and feedback, and participate in the design and development of training for the field sales organization. The Sales Trainer will support and advance the company’s Mission, which is To be a Leading Provider of Capital and Marketing Services to the Restaurant Industry. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly train outside sales personnel to improve productivity and overall sales capability.
  • Priority focus to be training to sell Merchant Cash Advance and Financial Services products 
  • Determine most effective instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, webinars, role play demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Plan and coordinate training classes/schedules.
  • Assist with training design and development.
  • Select and/or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and computer tutorials.
  • Monitor, record, and evaluate training activities and program effectiveness on sales results. 


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus
  • Experience in multi-unit training required
  • Ability to independently prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to teach and inspire.
  • Effective human relations and communication skills for dealing with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately.
  • High attention to detail. 
  • Marketing services and/or restaurant industry experience a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 50%
