Location St. Peters Missouri

Tier 1 automotive supplier seeking a Quality Manager.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: 

* Manage all facets of internal and external Quality Systems

* Maintain ISO/TS16949 registration/certification

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITIONS:

* Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes

* Design, develop and implement quality control training programs

* Supervise Quality Engineers, Document and Data Control Administrator and workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity

* Investigate, and correct, customer issues and complaints related to quality

* Lead cross-functional problem solving groups and related activities

* Provide technical and statistical expertise to production teams

* Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts and services as they relate to quality

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

* GD&T

* MSA

* SPC

* Capability Studies

* Run-At-Rates

* APQP

* PPAP

* PFMEA

* Problem solving techniques such as Shainin Statistical Engineering

* Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques

* Computer proficiency

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

* Applicable Bachelor's Degree (i.e., Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)

* Minimum 5-7 years of management experience

* Automotive experience

* Tier One automotive experience

* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

TRAVEL:

* Some travel is required, including travel to Mexico
