Company has a need for a Software Engineer.  

 

The successful candidate will have required knowledge in the following skill sets:

 

C / C++ programming

Knowledge of navigation methods to include laser (usig reflective targets), laser or other vision based device (using S.L.A.M. techniques or other), inductive guidance techniques (possibly using magnets)

Experience with robotics controls

Real-time operating systems

Networking & communications principles (including RF,CanBUS, TCP/IP)

Embedded systems and multicore

HMI/GUI development

Experience with motion controls (including AC/DC motors and hydraulic control systems)

Ability to understand electrical designs

 

Additional skills in the following areas are highly desired:

 

Knowledge of software/hardware setup

Good problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Experience in the Material Handling Industry

 

Duties to include:

Assisting product and technical engineers in developing solutions.

Assisting technical and development personnel in application quality testing.

Providing specified technical support to Application Engineering, when assigned.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related.

8+ years of software development experience.

Willingness to travel 20% - 30%.
