Position Title ERP Analyst - AL #2743

Under general supervision, the ERP Analyst will be responsible for formulating and defining system developments and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Other responsibilities include preparing detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written as well as designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining those programs. The person in this position must be competent to work on most phases of system analysis and programming activities. 

 

Position Responsibilities

1. Identification and documentation of system needs such as software enhancements, updates, fixes and new/additional modules.

2. Preparation of detailed technical specifications for programs.

3. Provide secondary support for routine maintenance and upgrades.

4. Design and coding of small to medium size programs and projects.

5. Assist in preparation of project/product lifecycle documents.

6. Follow assigned priorities and where priorities are not assigned have the ability to organize and prioritize activities.

7. Provide support to end-users by use of effective communication skills as well as presenting solutions to problems in a timely manner.

8. Provide on-call support during assigned periods.

9. Communicate effectively and regularly with the project team. This includes providing task details to the project manager on a regular basis.

8. Minimum of two years ERP professional programming experience preferably PeopleSoft

9. Strong written and oral communication skills.

10. Bachelor's degree is required; Information Systems or Computer Science majors are preferred.

11. Related professional development certification preferred
