Job Description

Ripen eCommerce is looking for a senior marketing manager that can manage the full mix of digital marketing channels. The marketing department is rapidly growing at Ripen and the senior marketing manager's responsibilities are expected to expand.

Working under the director of marketing, the senior marketing manager will drive marketing strategy, be client facing, and ultimately be responsible for client success.

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Director to create strategy for new clients.
  • Implement and track every facet of marketing strategy for existing clients.
  • Lead the team in knowledge of the digital marketing space and frequently educate team members on digital marketing.
  • Structure and execute research that drives forward our understanding of eCommerce marketing.

At the inception of the position, the senior marketing manager will be responsible for these channels:

  • Paid Search - managing our paid search team as a part of a holistic marketing strategy.
  • Email marketing - managing the strategy and execution of our email marketing efforts.
  • SEO - managing both the strategy and execution of SEO. Will be hands on.
  • Marketplace services - managing our marketplace team as part of a holistic marketing strategy.
  • Creative turnover - as the marketing manager you'll be responsible for producing creative briefs for the creative team and weighing in on the routing process to keep creative aligned with marketing strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years with specifically, at least 2 years experience managing the full mix of digital marketing for eCommerce, and at least 1 year in a management role.
  • Deep knowledge of both digital marketing and eCommerce.
  • Strong focus on data and analysis in planning and execution.
