Senior Helpdesk Support Specialist

Established law firm with locations in downtown Bethesda, MD and Vienna, VA near Tysons Corner seeks senior help desk support specialist.

Research various problems to provide appropriate responses to end users and be able to perform basic troubleshooting and assist users through simple procedures.
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
Expected to utilize most primary office software packages, including MS Excel and Access.
Conducts onsite installation and testing of equipments to ensure proper functionality.
Represents the company on a customer support role and services.
Train clients on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practice approach to operation and responsibilities and answer questions.
Interacts daily with supervisors and other technical personnel on the daily status of events with the customer in form of formal presentation.
High school education or equivalent and 5+ years of technical training experience.
Requires 5+ years of relevant User support experience. Proven helpdesk support experience.
Knowledge of Windows XP and 7 OS, MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
Must have a strong customer service orientation.
Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Symantec AntiVirus, Ghost and Backup Exec suites, Active Directory, and Track IT software a plus.
