Job Description

  • To assimilate, understand and operate the SGS Certification Management System in all activities relating to the post, and to liaise with the Product Managers and Accreditation Manager regarding any changes to to its design and implementation
  • To perform audits in any capacity in conformance with SGS Global/Local procedures, sector specific schemes and IATF 16949
  • In performing the duties described above, to ensure that such duties are performed in an efficient and commercially expedient way
  • To control as necessary, teams of auditors during assessment activities
  • To decide upon evidence gained during audits whether or not registration should be recommended or allowed to continue.

Qualifications

  • Be a qualified Lead Auditor Accredited scheme against IATF 16949 
  • Have satisfactorily completed an approved IATF 16949 Auditor/Lead Auditor course. The course must include an examination, which must be passed to evidence satisfactory completion. It would be a plus to have completed similar training for ISO 9001
  • Have competent working knowledge of recognized quality, security, service management and business continuity related ISO standards.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline, or similiar 
  • Ability to travel, have valid passport and driver license
  • Integrity, tact and character, and high professional standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
