Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drawing Support/Markup Specialist to assist with the preparation, annotation, and revision of technical drawings and design documents. This role will focus on reviewing drawings, applying annotations and markup, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the design team in AutoCAD-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of engineering and architectural drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marking up drawings: Review and mark up AutoCAD drawings, blueprints, or schematics as per client feedback, design updates, or technical requirements.
• Text and Annotation: Add text annotations, labels, dimensions, and other details to AutoCAD drawings for clarity and proper communication.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure all modifications and corrections are accurately reflected in the drawings.
• Layer Management: Organize and manage AutoCAD layers effectively to ensure clean, readable, and well-documented drawings.
• Drawing Revision: Implement and document revisions or updates to drawings as per internal reviews or client feedback.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings are error-free and meet company or client standards and specifications.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing AutoCAD drawing support, answering questions and providing solutions for design challenges.
• Document Management: Maintain drawing records, including archiving and version control to ensure proper documentation management.
• CAD Software Utilization: Use AutoCAD and other related software tools to enhance drawing accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• CAD Standards: Follow company CAD standards and protocols to ensure consistency in all drawings and documentation.

• Education: Associate’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum [3] years of experience using AutoCAD to produce and markup drawings.
  • Experience with architectural, mechanical, or civil drafting preferred.
