Job Description

The assignment requires the candidate to be versatile, adaptable and work as a valued member of a small team. The candidate would be a SharePoint Developer/Administrator for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).


The following are expected to be performed as a SharePoint Developer/Administrator on this project:

  • Gather requirements,

  • Formulate technical strategies,

  • Create functional design documentation,

  • Participate in migration from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 to 2013.

  • User Profiles, and Workflow Provisioning and configuring SharePoint solutions, features, sites, workflows, web parts, and master pages using the SharePoint UI

  • Configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint security groups, permissions, and settings.

  • Design, develop and manage migration of html-based intranet to SharePoint 2013 intranet

  • Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows.

  • Assist in developing and executing SharePoint architectural roadmap and system strategy

  • Participate in administration of SharePoint governance plan

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly, accurately and timely to supervisor, project team members and business users

  • Create flowcharts, wire diagrams, and slides to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrate prototypes and concepts for technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

  • Must have experience with MS SharePoint development, architecture, and administration

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 features and best practices

  • Must have experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint server deployments.

  • Must have experience developing in SharePoint site configuration and administration, SharePoint UI design/branding, and BI.

  • Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012

  • Experience in .NET development

  • Experience with web related technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, and XML a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Experience working with Agile and waterfall project management practices.

  • Familiarity with federal SDLC, privacy, accessibility, and security practices.

  • SharePoint certifications

  • Security clearance a plus

  • Active public trust clearance a plus.
