Collectively, SNCF leadership brings over 20 years of experience in social services, education, workforce and youth development programming, and grant management. Job Description

Position Summary:  To provide Case Management services to Adolescents, their families and non-custodial parents

Case Managers are advocates for customers and focus on goals that will move participants towards self-sufficiency.


Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Provide counseling, mentoring and case management services to adolescents.
  2. Emphasize the importance of self-sufficiency to youth and responsibility to all parents
  3. Provide prevention services to youth in the community
  4. Facilitate parent and adolescent support groups
  5. Establish and maintain accurate case records and reports
  6. Link youth and families to appropriate community resources
  7. Assist with community presentations
  8. Assist non-custodial parents, youth and their families with any barriers that they feel are preventing progress
  9. Monitor attendance and measure progress
  10. Maintain regular and predictable job attendance
  11. Work co-operatively with co-workers and residence
  12. Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years’ experience working with youth and families
  • Willing to work non-traditional hours in the community, which may include evenings and/or weekends
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license is required and must maintain personal extended insurance
  • Satisfactory fingerprint background check required as a condition of employment
  • CPR/First Aide certification for Adult/Infant required
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadline
  • Ability to maintain information as highly confidential


Preferred Requirements:


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Associated Degree in Social Services related field
