Job Description

Adapt well to change · Able to learn new processes quickly · Previous HR experience required· A/P experience a plus - extensive monthly reconciliations
Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee - In Processing of all New Hires:· New Hire (NH) Paperwork· Benefit election & eligibility· Start vacation & sick day accruals · Reporting New Hire to state· Copy Accounting on selected paperwork as necessary· Enter NH into Benefits Connect· Create Annual Appraisals· Add employee to Pension worksheets
Oversee – Benefits and maintain data · Responsible for maintaining up to date and current employee elected coverage, including verifying proper payroll deductions are being taken.· Reconciling all monthly statements relating to benefit program · Answer general employee benefit questions relating to premiums, co-pays, medical coverage, etc.· Adding/dropping dependents due to status changes· Enrolling new subscribers & their dependents online· Annual benefit election meetings w/ each company· Oversee management of H S A program & payroll deductions

Oversee & Manage: Benefits Connect online enrollment system· Prepare statements to pay Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, COBRA & life insurance bills· Prepare statements for Medical un-reimbursement program· Prepare statements for Childcare reimbursement program
Pension: Run P/R reports Bi-Weekly & Month end to enter data onto Excel.· Form 5500 Annual Audit participation· Oversee Exit Process:· Ensure Out processing employee using designated company forms· COBRA (explanation of continuing health benefits) Letters· Notify all benefit plans affected by the termination of employee (Pension, Medical, Dental, Vision & life insurance, Un-reimbursed medical) and discontinue from each.
COBRA Management:· Collecting COBRA premiums from participants· Maintain excel worksheet reflecting payments made· Copy participant checks (to accompany COBRA statement)Unemployment Claims Management:· Timely response to unemployment claims · Submit relative information to contest claims (as necessary)
Auditing:· Internal Personnel Audits (quarterly-per company)o Verify reporting to state is complete Verify I-9s have correct data Verify terminated I-9s are removed from active binder·
Internal Pension Audits (monthly – per company)o Verify all amounts deducted and sent have been received by record-keeper applied to correct participanto Verify all demographic data is accurate
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
5+ years experience as HR Mgr
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
Must have current supervisory experience (at least 2 years)
