Job Duties: The Specialist, Cellular Modem SW will work closely with the local operator labs to provide solutions in her/his technology area: Use in-depth cellular protocol skills to analysis and debug problems reported for our Lumia devices during the SW development phase. Provide and maintain the modem SW configuration. Perform software integration tasks. Participate in implementation projects as agreed in global resource planning. Engineer needs to work in close cooperation with chipset supplier. Daily work is organized in an agile mode and project goals will be achieved in an experienced and highly skilled team.

Skills Required: 7+ years of work experience and proven expertise in SW development, debugging and SW integration. Good SW architecture understanding of mobile devices Over 5+ yrs of experience working on modem side development Experience of C/C++ programming Strong knowledge of LTE domain Strong knowledge of RRC protocol Strong knowledge of NAS protcol message flow Working experience in IMS/VoLTE Very good problem solving skills Highly experienced in SW debugging & tracing Target oriented working attitude and ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to manage multiple tasks

Candidates possessing a valid work visa/ authorization to US are eligible: H1B, Initial F1 OPT, CPT, Green Card, GC-EAD, L2-EAD, US Citizen, Mexican & Canadian Citizens (TN Permit), Australian Citizens (E3 Visa), Extended/STEM OPT. Candidates having only H1/i797 petition approval are also eligible.

Note 1: Currently we do not sponsor H1B visa. We undertake transferring of H1 visa. We would take up processing of expired H1b visa (stamped or unstamped) including expired H1 petition in certain cases.Note 2: We do not work with B1/B2 business visa, L1 visa type.

Position can be held as permanent as well as contracting (1099/W2/C2C).
