Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving, hands-on business consultant who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to be part of our London team.  Knowledge and expertise in the customer experience or customer loyalty domain is required. The individual needs to be an effective self-starter who can hit the ground running and be proactive in driving ongoing self-development to actively contribute to the team’s collective thought leadership. 

The Senior Business Consultant is responsible for identifying, selling and delivering consulting services to our clients and prospects.  This individual will build relationships with executives, and deliver consulting expertise around customer experience management and Net Promoter. Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments are essential in this role.  This position is responsible for proactively guiding our clients to deliver business results by creating a customer-centric culture and driving improvements to the customer experience.  The ideal candidate must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, detail-oriented, quality-minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on the customer’s business and proactively guide customer experience program success by identifying, selling and delivering consulting services to achieve desired business objectives •Work with multidisciplinary teams to grow the business
  • Deliver value-add expertise building on understanding of client’s business to help senior executives leverage their customer experience programs to achieve tangible returns
  • Develop organization-wide enterprise roadmap for clients to drive cultural transformation, identifying areas of improvement, and driving actions to improve customer experience performance
  • Achieve personal revenue targets on a quarterly basis
  • Provide thought leadership in customer experience management building on ongoing research, engagement experiences and market trends to develop personal credibility and the Satmetrix brand
  • Proactively identify opportunities for development of new consulting service offerings based on market demand
  • Participate in defining and packaging sales and marketing materials where required
  • International travel as required

Qualifications

  • Ability to establish and grow executive relationships that drive program adoption

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • High attention to detail and quality

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years customer experience management (CEM) research and/or consulting experience
  • Experience in scoping, selling and delivering CEM research and/or consulting services
  • Experience in presenting findings and recommendations to C-level audience
  • Demonstrable experience in developing high-quality, well-structured, and user-friendly PowerPoint and Excel client deliverables
  • Demonstrable experience in developing sample deliverables and associated marketing materials to position CEM research and/or consulting service offerings
  • BA/BS degree in analytically-focused field (Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, Economics, Financial Analysis or Business Studies)
  • MBA from a leading business school is preferred
