We are seeking highly-motivated, experienced professionals to join our growing product team. Specifically, we are looking for a talented UI Engineer with a passion for being on the cutting edge of web development with the skills to support legacy products/code when required. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, always learning and willing to expand his/her horizons.

As part of our product team, s/he has a passion for building intuitive user-interfaces. The technologies our ideal candidate is proficient in include JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Experience with in JQuery and Backbone is a must. Experience in Bootstrap will be a plus.

The ideal candidate will be extremely proficient and proven in the design and implementation of modern web application architectures. S/He will be strong in all aspects of the presentation layer and the technologies associated with it, along with some battle-proven experience in SaaS web application environment.  

Working in a dynamic environment, s/he will collaborate daily with product managers, peer software engineers & architects, UX designers, server-side engineers, technical writers, and QA engineers. S/He is a creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. S/He will institute and adhere to best practices, be a strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor.

 Qualifications:

• Prior experience using a modular, common and scalable UI platform
• Prior experience in working with UI patterns and standards 
• Direct experience with HTML5 and responsive web design
• Experience in developing web applications using JQuery and BackBone
• Familiarity with Bootstrap is a plus
• Familiarity and experience with agile (scrum) development process
• Experience working within a distributed engineering team including offshore
• Proven track record of identifying and championing new technologies that enhance the end-user experience, software quality, and developer productivity
• Experience in both small and large companies

 Requirements:

• Direct experience with JavaScript and Ajax across major browsers.
• Understanding of Java Web technology and experience with dealing JSON and XML documents a plus
• Strong commitment to good engineering discipline and process including code reviews and delivering unit tests in conjunction with feature delivery
• Must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required.
• Must be adaptable to agile methodology work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate positive attitude and flexibility towards tasks on hand.
• Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Expert in design production with an impeccable attention to detail
• Experience with developing mobile applications (web and/or native) a plus
• SaaS/Cloud Application Experience (design and operational)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
• Understanding of Customer Experience and NPS is a plus

 Requirements:

• BS degree in design or computer science or equivalent degree/experience
• A minimum of 2 years in web application development
• Demonstrated ability to deliver working solutions on a tight schedule
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
