Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Field Marketing Director assist in all aspects of managing the Total Store Productivity Program so that all short and long term goals are met or exceeded. The primary function is to provide field training and support to marketing Assistant Managers, Supervisors and In Store Marketers so that optimal performance is achieved. In addition, the Regional Manager will be a key partner in developing the In-Store program to ensure the most efficient and effective marketing strategy.

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assist Director of Field Marketing with development and implementation of annual In Store marketing business plans. Responsible for budgeted net revenue as established by the Company.

• Manage a staff of 18-25 exempt Managers. The staff encompasses approximately 3 - 5 Assistant Managers with direct reports of averaging 3-5 Supervisors. Each Supervisor will supervise 6 to 15 In Store Marketers.

• Meet or exceed region’s budgeted staffing hours by net revenue, lead flow, productivity, stores staffed, hot calls, confirmation and CLPH per Standard Operating Procedures.

• Along with the Assistant Manager, responsible for establishing and building positive relationships with the Full-line store management within the assigned market.

• Responsible for managing expense control to achieve budget. • Ensure excellent quality and customer service practices are upheld.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for achieving budgeted staffing hours, productivity, confirmation, and net revenue from each region in order to meet program budget.

• Manage, hire, train and motivate Assistant Managers. When needed, provide hands-on training and assistance to Supervisors and In Store Marketers.

• Responsible for ensuring new Assistant Managers and Supervisors complete Manager Capability Framework Training within timeframe specified.

• Monitor Monthly/Quarterly Lead Status Reports for “NG” lead improvement performance with In Store Marketers.

• Communicate Weekly with assigned APC Market Coordinator to identify opportunities for lead conversion budget for the territory.

• Responsible for monitoring and approving expense reports, travel requests, employment advertising.

• Direct and assist Assistant Managers in hiring, staffing, and training of In Store Supervisors.

• Train, coach and monitor Assistant Manager, Supervisors on competency based interviewing skills, motivational techniques to ensure established guidelines are being used. 

• Due to travel requirements averaging 75% of the time, including overnight stays, the ability to travel by car and air is required.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Specific Requirements:

• College degree preferred.

• Must have valid driver’s license. 

• At least 3 years prior management/sales management experience required.

• At least 3 years exempt recruiting experience required.

• Must have the ability to drive to the assigned territory and sit in an automobile for extended periods of time.

• Must have the ability to walk, stand and move around for extended periods of time.

• The ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task is essential.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

• Flexibility is essential due to various responsibilities of position.

• Must have the ability to maintain a positive mental attitude at all times to provide a positive role model for subordinates, peers and other members of management.

• Should have desire and show initiative for upward mobility.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities at one time, dealing with shifting priorities, and handling employee problems and issues.

• Ability to manage & develop exempt associates in team & relationship building, hiring and staffing, & measuring work.
