Job Description

Showpad is seeking a sharp, agile, and energized Marketing Development Representative to join the team and take part in the dramatic growth currently underway. In this role, you will make outbound calls to potential clients who have expressed interest in learning more about Showpad. The Marketing Development Representative qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and informs them about Showpad’s offering. You’ll ascertain the likelihood of the prospect being a good match for Showpad’s solution. Fifty percent of your time will be on the phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert inbound leads through call and email follow-up into sales meetings for Showpad Account Executives
  • Present a balanced approach to lead follow-up, relationship development, sales process, and appointment setting
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover business challenges
  • Meet monthly productivity measures and regularly communicate with senior sales to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
  • Articulate the Showpad value proposition and qualify a prospect’s business intentions
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  • Record prospect information in CRM data base

Qualifications


  • 1 – 3 year of prospecting or business sales experience
  • Professional vocal skills: courteous, well spoken, pleasing vocal tone, and polished in asking questions and sharing information
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles and solution selling tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated by individual and team achievement
  • Highly organized with ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Able to connect business needs to solutions
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Understanding of basic business metrics and measurements
