Showpad is looking for an experienced, versatile HR Manager to help build an HR department for our growing Gent Office. As we hire more people and our company grows, Showpad is developing a need for a fully-fledged, professional HR department. We will need you to build that structure. You’ll report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Organizing the recruiting process. You will work with the different department heads to identify the exact need, the profile required, etc. and liaise with candidates as they come in;
• Organizing employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training;
• Working with our payroll agency for compensation and benefits administration;
• Developing and documenting HR policies;
• Taking initiatives on employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
• Co-organizing the bi-annual evaluations with the heads of department;
• Taking care of company employee and community communication;

• 5 years of experience in an HR function
• Languages: good knowledge of Dutch and English
• Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a spectrum of personalities
• Good at building trust-based relationships
• High degree of independence and highly organized
• Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
