Showpad is looking for a sharp Accountant to join the team.  As the company gets bigger, so do our accounts. Your job will be to keep them in great shape.  On your watch, our accounts will always be accurate and up-to-date. You’ll report to the Director of Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing new accounting system and consolidation tool
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting to the Board
• Overlook both BE and US accounts
• Process of incoming invoices, expense notes and bank statements
• Process of outgoing invoices
• VAT- declaration, Intrastat declarations
• Assist in preparing Income Tax declaration
• Review of asset Ledger
• Assist during audits
• Prepare Balance sheet reviews
• Maintain supplier/customer ledgers
• Ad hoc tasks

We are looking for:

• Education: minimum Bachelor/Graduate in Accounting
• 3 – 5 year of experience in accounting, month-/Quarter end closings and VAT declarations
• ICT minded (Office)
• Analytical, communicative team player
• Languages: good knowledge of Dutch and English, French is an asset
• Professional skills: courteous, well spoken and polished in asking questions and sharing information
• Highly organized with ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Understanding of basic business metrics and measurements
