Job Description

At Showpad, we’re building a highly successful consumer-inspired experience that helps sales and marketing professionals—whether at their desk or on the road—save time and resources to be more effective.

We are looking for a content marketer based in San Francisco to drive content marketing strategy, take ownership of internal and external communications, and grow revenue using strategic content campaigns across channels.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, customer-centric marketer with a track record of delivering content marketing programs at scale. You lead both content strategy and execution for content marketing, translating the Showpad brand & value proposition into content themes and assets that drive leads, elevate and solidify Showpad’s position as the most customer-friendly B2B brand in the industry.

Content responsibilities include taking ownership of Showpad’s internal and external content, developing product marketing and sales materials, and developing an external communications strategy. PR responsibilities include communications with analysts, media, and agencies. Our content marketer will also have some communications experience, ideally previously implementing a strong PR strategy. We're looking for a dynamic team player with exceptional storytelling and editorial skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute Showpad’s content marketing calendar to engage, delight, and convert key customer segments
  • Develop content campaigns, whitepapers, e-books, infographics, blog posts & decks
  • Write creative briefs and direct content asset production
  • Manage an editorial calendar based on Showpad’s strategic goals and events
  • Own new content that clearly explains product strengths, engages our market, makes the Showpad voice sing and meets high standards for quality
  • Execute the PR strategy to increase Showpad’s visibility, profile & drive steady media coverage
  • Build, maintain and grow media / analyst relationships to increase coverage
  • Secure speaking engagements at key industry conferences and events for company executives as well as assist in the creation of presentation materials
  • Write core messaging documents, press releases, award / speaking submissions & media briefings
  • Work closely with cross-functional international team in Europe and in the US. Engage Sales, Product, and Customer Success to build and execute content & communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years experience in content marketing (minimum), ideally some in B2B SaaS marketing
  • 1 year of PR or relevant communications experience
  • Outstanding oral and written communications
  • Strategic, passionate storytelling ability is a must
  • Solid understanding of translating brand personality into assets, copy, and design
  • Proven track record of driving successful content strategy across channels
  • Positive attitude and a great sense of humor
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a huge plus
  • Multi-lingual background with international experience is a plus
