Job Description

Showpad is looking for an experienced Marketing Director for our growing Office in Ghent. You will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of our European marketing programs. 

The ideal candidate is an ambitious, customer-centric marketer that has a passion for developing data-driven marketing programs that discover actionable sales leads for Showpad account executives. 

You will be responsible for the following activities and more...

  • Build and execute demand generation plan that includes SEM, display advertising, webinars, trade shows, content syndication, etc. 
  • Manage all inbound and outbound marketing - blogging, social media, SEO, and marketing automation in Europe
  • Work closely with the marketing team in the US to communicate brand and product positioning to local audiences
  • Manage junior marketers and local agencies/partners
  • Create and leverage content (blog articles, ebooks, presentations, videos, etc.
  • Engage in social media  with a goal of increasing reach and engagement
  • Analyze marketing performance and use data to constantly improve results
  • Report on European marketing performance  to cross-functional teams and executive leadership including the VP of Marketing, VP of Sales and VP of Customer Success.
  • Ensure excellent communication and coordination with European sales team to make them successful
  • Work with product management to influence product road map to increase revenue in your region

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience executing outbound and inbound demand generation programs. Preferably with people management experience. 
  • Advanced masters degree is a plus
  • Experience in a software/SAAS environment is a plus
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com) and marketing automation (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua) preferred
  • Great communication skills and the ability to organize cross-department projects
  • Ability to constantly reprioritize for maximum performance
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • You look forward to working at an early stage startup
  • Languages: professional proficiency of Dutch and English
