Showpad is looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer to join 
us. You will:

• Improve architecture and toolset of the platform 
• Tackle scalability and performance challenges
• Cleverly use technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL 
• Be proactive at maintaining and improving the Showpad platform
• Contribute to improving our development processes and environments
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product management, interaction designers, and other engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher in a Computer Science oriented field of 
• study, or equivalent through experience 
• 5-10y relevant experience 
• Speak fluent PHP, Java, Node.js or Python
• Have an instinct for software architecture and communicate easily about it 
• Understand quality and how to improve quality processes (test-driven development) 
• Understand database design concepts (relational and not relational) 
• Solid understanding of the full web technology stack 
• Experience with or understanding of distributed systems (content delivery, databases, business logic, messaging) 
• Experience with or understanding of an API-driven approach to software architecture

Desired:

• Speak other system-level languages for tooling 
• Good understanding of OS concepts and internals of Linux, and practical shell scripting skills 
• Good written communication and documentation abilities
