Job Description

Showpad Sales Development reps are responsible for finding and developing qualified sales leads for the Showpad sales team. You will identify and research lists of companies to target and develop effective email and telephone campaigns. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and creating new relationships with Showpad’s target customers to generate a healthy pipeline for our business. 

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new business sales leads through a mixture of cold calling, email and following up marketing campaigns
  • Schedule meetings with target accounts
  • Build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities for the Showpad sales team to deliver on sales targets
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual qualified sales opportunities targets
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Capture all relevant customer information and sales activities in Salesforce.com to track the progress of the sales cycle
  • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Dynamic, high energy sales professional with 1-2 years successful experience in a sales development role within an intense, fast paced, goal oriented environment --> ideally in an Enterprise Saas company
  • Previous experience working in an outbound position
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, especially to Director and VP level
  • Good telephone presence, self-starter and results driven personality
  • Excellent time management and prioritising abilities
  • Proven track record achieving measurable sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system is required.
  • Startup DNA is required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
