Job Description

Do you have a passion for mobile and SaaS apps that empower sales people to have better prospect conversations? If yes, join a great data driven marketing organization to grow adoption of Showpad. 

Your role will be to help us position Showpad for business growth and telling the ‘Why Showpad’ story through all aspects of the product, marketing, and sales channels. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will develop product messaging, lead product launches, own the free trial experience, and activate our brand across multiple marketing channels.

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Showpad across segments by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Plan and lead product/feature launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Product, Marketing, Customer Success) and related sales enablement
  • Work with customers to tell their Showpad story
  • Develop messaging that fits the audience mindset/needs within that experience (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, etc.) and maximizes the strengths of each channel or communication experience
  • Define, create, and publish important content that educates marketing and sales professionals on the benefits of mobile first approach to selling
  • Work with Product Management to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product development roadmap and create mitigation for product gaps
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand ongoing enablement needs; create and execute an enablement program across positioning/messaging training, competitive counter-tactics, and product education

Qualifications

  • 3 years of product marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Verbally articulate and skilled at telling a visual story 
  • Can quickly synthesize disparate data into a ‘position’ and craft messaging that connects with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Has demonstrated an ability to dive into a product and become a champion
  • Proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively 
  • Can effectively balance quantitative evidence and qualitative factors to quickly test and learn (avoiding analysis paralysis)
