We are looking for an experienced full stack software engineer who enjoys the challenge of building a complex web application from the ground up. You have extensive experience with all parts of the stack, are comfortable writing complex SQL queries or data transformations and are excited about building beautiful and scalable user interfaces. 

What will you do?

• Design, build, test and operate the full stack from database through web application tier and user interface.
• Build highly performant web applications that focus on analytics and user interaction with data
• Evolve database schemas for functionality and performance.
• Own the product and have fun while doing it.

What do you bring?

You can bend javascript to your will, and have used frameworks such as angular.js to build elegant and scalable applications. You want to own every aspect of an application. You are happy developing a stunning visualization in the morning, building a web application API in the evening and debugging a data pipeline the next day. You can tackle performance & scalability challenges from the client-side code, through the web application tier, all the way to the backend database. You are passionate about technology and love working together with like-minded smart people

These are the technologies that we expect you to be comfortable with and hit the ground running:

• HTML, CSS, Javascript/AJAX
• Angular.js or similar frameworks
• Python and associated web application frameworks such as Flask
• MySQL, Postgres, or similar. 
• Solid understanding of relational database modeling and design, including experience building data-intensive applications
• Bonus points for D3.js, C3.js, PHP and/or Symfony, NoSQL like MongoDB
