Showpad is hiring a dynamic and talented Sales Development Team Leader that can help coach, train and develop sales development reps to succeed! In this role you need to be able to set achievable goals and help your team hit those benchmarks by mastering the tactics and strategy of being a successful sales development rep. Understanding how each person has different motivation and strengths is key.

Job Responsibilities

· Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales development goals.

· Provide strong coaching and mentoring through a deep understanding of the Sales Development role, our business model, and our sales methodology. This includes coaching on how to build rapport over the phone, best practices on how to reach a targeted audience (via phone and email), inbound lead follow up and outbound prospecting techniques, qualification and how to set the right scene for high quality opportunity generation and lead nurture.

· Support your direct reports by participating in prospect qualification and discovery calls/meetings · Provide weekly team performance summary as well as timely and accurate forecast to the European Marketing Director based on a deep understanding of historical trends as well as representative’s individual performance.

· Make recommendations on process improvements.

· Continuously manage the performance and development of team through proper coaching, development, motivation, goal setting and general direction.

· Drive discipline and operational excellence in Sales Development with the tools available to us, including data cleanliness in SFDC.

· Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Directors to drive increased performance and align pipeline production to the needs in Sales.

Qualifications

· Must have 1-5 Years experience as a people manager with a proven track record of running a successful team

· Must be proficient in working with CRM system. Salesforce.com is a plus.

· Experience prospecting as an individual contributor for at least 2 years preferably in technology.

· Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills. · Track record of success in an entrepreneurial and self-starting environment

· Track record in developing and promoting Sales Development representatives.

· Experience in marketing automation (Hubspot/Marketo) and social selling is a plus
