Job Description

Assisting Production Manager in planning, managing and executing production operations in a smooth and effective manner.

  • Assisting in drawing up a shooting schedule and estimating cost.
  • Getting approved the booking of resources, equipment and suppliers.
  • Overseeing location bookings and arranging any necessary permissions and risk assessments.
  • Making sure that the production runs to schedule, and reporting to the production manager on progress.
  • Assisting in managing the production schedule.
  • Oversee preliminary search and survey of all locations and the completion of business arrangements for the same.
  • Supervise completion of the Production Report for each day's work, showing work covered and the   status of the production, and arrange for the distribution of that report in line with the company's   requirement.
  • Coordinate arrangements for the transportation and housing of cast, crew and staff.
  • Arranging various details for the logistics of production. This might include renting vehicles or equipment.
  • Coordinating with the cast and crew to make sure they are on the set on time.
  • Liasoning with local authorities regarding locations to carry out the shooting in a smooth manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / PGDM in Film Studies,  Media Science, Mass Communication & Journalism.

Additional Information

Experience:  3 - 4 years relevant experience in Production.
