Job Description
- Manage day-to-day operations including conceptualizing the social content calendar, curating content, coordinating with the creative team, writing editorial copy, planning promotions & contests, etc.
- Manage SVF’s presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
- Actively collaborate with the Marketing, PR & Category management teams to strategize and implement innovative social media campaigns.
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
- Undertake social media research to gain deeper insight into online conversations related to Bengali media & entertainment industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, communications or other related field.
Additional Information
- Atleast 4+ years of relevant experience in social media. Preferably from Digital media agency background
- Knowledge of blogging ecosystem
- Strong project management/organization skills
- Passion for writing and an eye for creative detail
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms. An active presence online with a Klout score rating of 35 or higher.
- Excellent verbal and written skills (proficiency in Bengali is a must).
- Ability to take full ownership of areas of responsibility, and proactively conceptualize campaigns.
