Job Description
Financial and Operational Management:
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards, regulatory requirements, budget audit requirements and maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
- Deal with Secretarial /company law and legal matters which comprise of Income Tax, Service Tax, Sales Tax, FBT assessments and appraisals that meet the needs of the organization.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting to develop a reliable cash flow projection process and
- Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress, reduce cost and present Financial metrics both internally and externally.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance relating to the same.
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analysis to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans.
- Drive implementation of ERP in Accounts & Finance department.
Policy & Planning:
- Plan & coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Develop short, medium and long-term financial plans and projections.
- Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Accounting and Administration:
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, usefulness of financial and management reporting for to organization’s board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
- Actively participate in stakeholder interactions, conferences and training programs etc.

CA
Additional Information
Experience: CA with min 10 - 12 yrs experience of which minimum 5 years working in a Senior Level role, preferably in a media company.
