A humble beginning with Regional Film Production, SVF has matured and gained prominence in Eastern India as a complete Media and Entertainment House with Film & Television Production, Film Distribution & Exhibition, Digital Cinema, Music and AV Equipment Rental.

SVF has carved a niche for itself by being known for its Mega Blockbusters in the same breath as its projects in Alternative Cinema. “Chokherbali” being one of its most ambitious attempts is noted for the overwhelming acclaim it received both in the National as well as International Films arena! It went on to be the most popular crossover film of its times!

Having ruled over the masses for over a decade with a series of super hit films like Challenge, Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, Sathi etc to name a few, SVF continues to surprise its audiences with its more recent Autograph and Iti Mrinalini.

SVF has distributed over 250 Hindi and English Films (put together) including films like Robot; My Name is Khan, Ghajini, Black, Slumdog Millionaire, Dabangg, Taare Zameen Par, Don 2, Tere Naam, Devdas, Bombay etc in addition to its Regional Home Productions.

An illustrious 325+ Digital Cinema Installations under the SVF umbrella makes it one of the largest Digital Cinema rollouts in the country!

SVF's latest diversification has been into the exhibition business wherein we have established a chain of cineplexes under the brand name of "VCinemas" with the aim of redefining cinematic experience to the masses. Over the past year we have opened properties at Bolpur, Purulia and Krishnanagar. 

Internship Duration - 2 to 3months ( from Aug'19)

• To provide assistance in drafting and reviewing agreements, legal notice and other legal documents;

• To undertake legal research on various facets of law and provide assistance in drafting legal opinions and advice accordingly; 

• Day to day coordination and assistance in general legal affairs of the company;

Law graduate . Preferred- previous internship experience

 knowledge of the following areas are preferable: 

• Intellectual Property laws including copyright, trademark, media and entertainment laws, law of contracts, company laws.
