Sigfox deploys its network worldwide through distribution agreements with local partners (Sigfox Operator – SO), in charge of deploying and maintaining the network, and marketing and selling connectivity thanks to customer, channels and ecosystem development. The relationship with each SO is managed by a Country Manager. Development of connectivity is mainly triggered by customers or channels of Sigfox Operators through their ability to implement IoT Solutions.
Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote actively the Sigfox radio protocol in relevant ETSI standardization groups
- Write and maintain protocol description documents for internal & external use
- Conduct researches on new features for the Sigfox radio protocol
- Develop and/or use tools for evaluation of the Sigfox radio protocol capabilities
- Work closely with Sigfox research (Imagineering) and development (Engineering) teams
Qualifications
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- sound knowledge in radio communication (esp. PHY and MAC layers)
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- high level of enthusiasm
- clarity, accuracy and proficiency in written and verbal communication
- self-reliant in day-to-day business
- good negotiation skills on technical matters
Languages:
- English: Fluent
- first level of proficiency in French
Experience:
- engineering degree or PhD in communication
- 3-5 years of experience from similar job
- adaptability, experience in a start-up environment welcome
