The Cloud Director will manage the SIGFOX Cloud development teams.

He will be responsible for the in-time delivery of quality, robust and scalable software products that implement the SIGFOX message processing engine and all the services related to the OSS and BSS.

The Cloud Director will focus on the structuring and operation of the Cloud Software development teams as a cohesive unit; the conceptualizing and day-to-day management of simultaneous projects; delivering Software products to agreed specifications within time and budget constraints and fostering of innovative solutions to customer needs.

He will work closely with the Product Management team and the other teams within the Engineering department.

The Cloud Director will provide a key contribution both as manager and technical leader actively participating to the definition of the architecture of the OSS and BSS solution, the selection of third party components and planning of the activities.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Contribution to the re-architecture of the existing SIGFOX OSS and BSS to bring it to the next level in terms of robustness and message processing capability as well serve SIGFOX evolving business needs.
2. Assure that the Cloud Development teams achieve objectives and project completion within budget and time frame.
3. Improve the quality of the delivered software
4. Be a student of current industry trends, ensuring that the company maintains and expands its technology leadership position.
5. Motivate staff and provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, recognizing the role as that of both manager and support resource / mentor.
6. Assure that product is designed for specific needs, but with wider applications in mind.
7. Hire and direct staff to acquire necessary resources to meet scheduled commitments.
8. Ensure implementation and refinement as required of formal process to support the product development process.
9. Ensure that product, software and services development are focused on meeting and exceeding the customer requirements.

• Management of Software Engineering teams that delivered at least one shipping software product that involve massive real-time data processing.
• Software development tools and methodologies (configuration management, defect tracking – Continuous Integration – Software measurement – Agile development methods – Automatic compilation and testing
• In depth understanding and practical experience in software architecture of scalable and redundant data processing solutions in SaaS mode.
• Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative, customer orientation.
• Fluent English
