Our Skechers design team is expanding and we are looking for 3D design talent. 3D modeling and prototyping is a newly adopted technology at Skechers and we are looking for a talented 3D technician to work with our footwear teams creating innovative performance and fashionable footwear models.

You will be working with the most advanced visualization, imaging, and rapid prototyping tools currently available. With your skills you will provide 3D prototyping assets to various design teams throughout the company.

This position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and expand their 3D prototyping skills, and become an expert in 3D printing. You will be working on a diverse team with various backgrounds and talents in the process of creating innovative footwear.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

• Work with design team to execute and realize 3D concept models
• Work with our international team to modify and revise existing 3D models
• Provide 3D scanning needs
• Prep 3D models for Rapid Prototyping
• Manage day to day log of 3D printing needs
• Organize and manage 3D printing facility including ordering supplies
• Research new and innovative 3D printing techniques and materials
• Work with and develop relationships with our 3D prototyping vendors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• College degree preferred in Product Development, Product Design, Media Arts, Animation or related fields
• Proficiency in 3D Modeling
• Some proficiency and knowledge with 3D rapid prototyping/3D scanning
• Footwear development experience a plus.
