Job Description

In collaboration with the department’s Director, develop new in-store marketing and promotional programs appropriate to the needs of each brand within the company, for both Domestic and International divisions. Develop, execute, monitor and measure custom visual rollouts within key retail partner store environments in order to increase both Skechers brand awareness and profitability.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

• Coordinate and manage multiple brand visual merchandising projects specific to key retailers, from concept through final production
• Lead the development of innovative Shop-in-Shop space in order to create strong in-store Skechers brand stories that support both Skechers and the retail partner
• Provide structural design/sizing expertise, production guidance and quality control
• Work with outside vendors and our internal Graphic Design department to make merchandising ideas come to life
• Create ad boards and other Marketing tools for our Sales Team
• Become an expert in customer environments and in-store requirements in order to execute flawless visual merchandising programs
• Interview/screen new vendors to secure lasting business relationships that fulfill the department’s costing and design needs
• Create  in store Marketing campaigns; Back To School, Holiday, BCA
• Work closely with digital design team creating synergy between on line and in store presentations
• Manage department archives of artwork, POP photography, and in-store photography
• Present at key Marketing meetings


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with VMCs to ensure solid execution, retailer compliance, and in-store photography
• Create PowerPoint presentations showcasing completed in-store projects
• Work with VM Logistics Coordinator to track shipping/delivery
• Work with VM Operations to ensure all costs are included in department budget

• International and domestic travel
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must have extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Design capabilities beneficial


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years  in store visual merchandising or marketing experience
• 5 years of management experience
• BA degree required
