Job Description

Requirements:

  • Experience in healthcare industry and/or state agencies such as Medicaid.
  • 5 or more years of experience as a Business / IT Policy Analyst in a Healthcare environment
  • Experience with data mining data warehouse
  • 2-4 years Project Management experience including hands on experience from project inception to stabilization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Work with program staff to identify and document project scope
  • Work as the primary lead for Business project management of IT and Business initiatives
  • Lead business requirements, design, user acceptance testing, training (internal & external), and implementation activities and on-going support.
  • Responsible for identifying and analyzing internal process issues in an effort to implement a system solution or process improvement that greatly reduces associate efforts or increase customer value.
  • Provide technological consultative support for new initiatives and ensure critical systems are in place to support OLTSS changing business needs.
  • Manage cross-functional IT related project teams by facilitating and managing group meetings, coordinating and leading working sessions, defining and delegating assignments, and reporting on status, issues, risks and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key external and internal customers
  • Leverage matrix relationships to maximize partnerships to collaborate on shared goals and achieve results.
  • Manage projects and tasks using standard project management tools and methodologies
  • Develop and manage project plans and resources plans
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project team members.
  • Primary business contact for projects that require MMIS, Claims and Data Warehouse input
  • Identify, track and manage project risks, issues, decisions, business process impacts and communicate to stakeholders to gain consensus and agreements on changes.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time and quality targets.
  • Effectively document and present project status, issues, and risks to facilitate decision making by leadership teams
  • Accountable for identifying testing needs, resources, and timelines as well as issue management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
