Job Description

This manager will work in partnership with the consumer research team, the marketing team, and the innovation team.


 Ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork. Upon completion, the Market Research Manager reviews the collected data, author’s reports and makes business-oriented recommendations to the sponsoring client.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:


· Communicating with clients to understand and document the business objectives


· Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques


· Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle


· Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides


· Working with Project Directors to oversee the fieldwork initiative


· Interpreting data, writing reports, and making actionable recommendations


Marketing Support: Ensure critical long-term, strategic and near-term tactical decisions that drive the business in sales, profitability, and equity based on an accurate and timely interpretation of current, relevant consumer insights and competitive market trend data. Consult on the development of new marketing strategies and help guide marketing to execute them with excellence to support the consumer connection to the brand(s).


Budget Management: Develop budgetary requests and manage the research budget for the assigned work team.


Requirements


Relevant minimum 6-7 years marketing research, consumer insights, or shopper research experience, preferably supporting a traditional marketing or innovation function.


Experience and proficiency in multiple consumer insights testing methodologies.


Sound business acumen and experience in developing strategy and business-driving recommendations


Excellent written and verbal skills with strong ability to present to various group sizes.


Ability to work well with others and participate in multifunctional work.


Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and analytical skills.


Education


Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Business, Marketing, Communication, Mathematics/Statistics, or Psychology/Sociology/Social Sciences required
