Job Description

You love solving a good puzzle and get a special rush from creating order out of chaos. You thrive on being a source of information for your team, making sure your office runs like clockwork. You look for creative solutions to new challenges, embracing a “can do” attitude to make things happen. As Smarterer’s Office Coordinator, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Ordering supplies 
  • Coordinating travel for team members 
  • Maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems
  • Coordinating improvements and updates to the office design 
  • Managing vendors to improve Smarterer’s basic office technology
  • Managing the purchase of office supplies, snacks, furniture and equipment
  • Supervising the maintenance of office equipment
  • Coordinating the distribution of building access keys to new employees 
  • Participating as needed in special department projects

This is a full-time role, and no travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications

You are:

  • An excellent communicator
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • A travel planning pro, able to juggle complex schedules 
  • Familiar with tools like Dropbox, Slack and Google Docs. 
  • Driven by making an impact on your team and your surroundings
  • Extremely fluent in word processing and calendaring programs
  • Obsessed with prioritization and time management
