Job Description

One of the main missions for the Snow User Experience team is to verify ideas, assumptions and solutions before we proceed with investments. We want to feel confident there is customer value, and that we have a thorough Product Discovery strategy before we even begin our solution delivery.

Our UX team consists of researchers and UX experts. We listen, ask questions, understand what customers are experiencing and what they want. Then we observe, so that we act on data and evidence, not on gut feeling,

Qualifications

We would like you to have already worked with user research in a tech environment. Maybe you've been part of a UX team that valued user research or have done consulting in that area. Even though you will have the support of our team, it is important that you have the experience and following skillset to be successful in this role and to help push our team forward:

  • Expertise in design research, fluency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle (e.g. interviewing, contextual inquiry, questionnaire development and survey research, usability studies and competitive benchmarking)
  • Strong focus on understanding problems, needs, behaviours and the context of users, to successfully recommend actions using objective data, and influence the actions taken based on that data
  • Self-driven and capable of taking your own initiative
  • Able to follow projects through to the end while showing the value of user research to the rest of the organisation
  • Comfortable communicating insights in a clear and digestible way to key stakeholders within Snow
  • Show a track record of delivering research insights that have had a lasting impact on product and design decisions
  • Collaboratively contextualise your work to Snow's environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and solid English skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience and/or an education in ethnographic research or social anthropology is desirable.´
  • B2B experience would be great, but not necessary.
