SoapBox Soaps is a social mission company that believes in changing the world through everyday purchases. For every bar of soap we sell, we donate one to a child in need somewhere in the world. 

We hope that our actions will help decrease the more than 3,000 daily deaths of children under the age of 5 by reducing exposure to deadly bacteria and disease. Something as simple as a bar of soap can save lives.

The Aid Donation Intern creates, maintains, and schedules donations of our aid soap, given out for every bar of soap sold. The Donation Intern manages communications between the Operations Team and Aid Soap Recipients. They will also receive, catalog, and organize press opportunities, photos, and press releases from coordinated trips.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience using Skype, Google Hangouts, and DropBox. Knowledge/Interest of the Global Health Crisis. Sensitivity to marginalized groups. Excellent internet research skills. Must own your own laptop and be able to work on location in our Metro accessible Rockville, MD office. Must be available 10-15 hours a week (flexible hours) and on Wednesdays in order to participate in company meetings. Must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be passionate about improving the world.

THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION. Candidates can expect a strong letter of reference and assistance in receiving college credit for work. 

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION. Candidates can expect to work 10-15 hours a week.
