Socious is looking for a permanent, full-time, Senior PHP Developer to design and build enhancements and new functionality for our online community software.  We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing team creating leading edge technology.

Sample Assignments:

• Create new modules based on specifications from support, marketing, and sales teams
• Enhance and improve upon core system functionality
• Resolve change requests provided by internal customer managers
• Design and implement integrations with external applications
• Work with new customers to import data into our application
• Design and build custom functionality and reports to satisfy detailed customer requirements

Requirements:

• Live in Arizona (Socious is headquartered near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport).  We are willing to pursue remote work opportunities but we prefer individuals living in Arizona (especially greater Phoenix area) to more easily support occasional in-person meetings.
• Must have experience working with PHP, MySQL,and Javascript

Preferred Experience:

• Four year degree (technical field preferred)
• PHPUnit testing experience
• Linux/Apache experience
• Source code version control experience
• Soap and/or Web service integration experience

Benefits:

• Socious covers the full cost of an employee's health and dental insurance.  Additional dependents and family coverage optional and at cost to employee.
• Employees are eligible to participate in our 401k plan immediately.  Socious will match contributions at a rate of 100% of the first 3% of salary and 50% of the next 2% of salary.  All matching is vested immediately.
• Employees accrue 8 hours of time off per month (12 days per year).  This time may be used for either sick days or vacation.  At any time an employee may borrow up to 40 hours of future accruable paid time off.  Socious observes 7 paid holidays each year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, and Christmas Day).
