Job Description

SourceKnowledge is seeking an Account Executive to sell video and display internet advertising to agencies and brands directly. This position requires an action-oriented leader that is tenacious and passionate about building new relationships, working in a team environment and closing sales objectives.

 

Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years sales experience, be a self-starter, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent verbal and written communication skills, competitive spirit, friendly and high-energy personality, strong organizational skills, and a passion to acquire new business. Experience in the digital advertising industry is a bonus but not mandatory. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Achieves new client acquisition goal and expands current client base

2. Works closely with sales group to establish and execute the overall sales strategy

3. Operates with the highest level of ethics and integrity while promoting and articulating the company’s vision, mission and values

4.  Solicits customers through telephone, email, Skype and in-person presentations

5. Creates and proposes advertising recommendations that best suit customer needs

6. Prepares accurate advertising contracts on behalf of company

7. Completes all sales related paperwork including reports, traffic, credit applications, etc

8. Stays abreast of competitive conditions

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability of clearly articulating the company’s value proposition into effective sales presentations and meetings
  • Proven ability to establish and cultivate interpersonal relationships both internally and externally
  • Expert with computer software and technology. Must have love of all things internet
