Job Description

In this role of Director, Account Management you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to Publisher Services Account Managers with the ultimate goal of continuously increasing productivity, and exceeding Publisher growth goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the Publisher Account Management teams by making great hires, incentivizing high performance, and developing the team.
  • Responsible for driving revenue through publisher retention and current publisher growth goals.
  • Partner with the VP, Publisher Services to establish a growth and retention strategy that is aligned with larger business goals, and create an aggressive tactical plan for the team to execute against.
  • Communicate goals and incentivize performance through the establishment of account management quotas, forecasts, and compensation plans.
  • Design and develop an account management training program that drives revenue, increases retention, and enhances employee development.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations Manager on establishing reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking for all aspects of account management.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience leading a sales and/or account management team
  • Experience in online advertising strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in effective communication, presentation, and influencing
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally
  • Proven experience with a variety of sales training tools and methodologies
  • Ability to motivate a team to meet aggressive growth targets
  • Experience leading a team utilizing Salesforce
