Job Title: Firewall Support Analyst

Job Description
As part of a data center migration project, responsible for identifying firewall rules associated with scheduled server move groups. Successful candidate will assist in performing due diligence in identifying existing firewall rules, server connections and various VPN’s and coordinating required changes across multiple vendor managed firewalls and mapping them to server destinations at the new data center.
Essential Functions
•    Assist Firewall migration team lead in performance of various security analysis functions associated with servers moving to a new data center.
•    Utilizing existing tools and methods identify firewall policies currently in place and translate them to new policies in advance of a server migration.
•    Follow all internal security process and procedures adhering to all global security requirements
•    Follow change management processes
•    Coordinate required changes in policy and configurations on multiple trusted third party VPN’s and connections.
•    Review and identify changes required on +180 process control firewalls that currently interface with servers in incumbent data center.
•    Work seamlessly with multiple vendors including IBM, Industrial Defender and AT&T, to ensure changes are processed and implemented in a timely fashion.
•    Participate in weekend move activities and evaluate and troubleshoot technical problems that arise within the security infrastructure.
•    Work with customers to address issues that may arise from a move group exercise.


Qualifications

Qualifications
•    Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in network security role.
•    Be able to work with multiple types of firewalls and have a working knowledge of differences required in various vendor platforms.
•    A good understanding of IP routing and switching required
•    Experience with the following required: web security, VPNs, vulnerability & risk assessment, encryption, and two-factor authentication.
•    Strong grasp of TCP/IP concepts and experience using network troubleshooting tools and techniques required. See attached job descriptions for further details.
