Job Description

As an outbound telephone-based role, the Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive the creation and qualification of leads at Splice Machine.  The objective will be to establish contact with key IT decision makers and identify new business opportunities. This role requires a professional individual with a high level of skill engaging with contacts within an organization. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Contact and qualify inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns
  • Perform outbound Telemarketing activity on targeted data lists
  • Set appointments for field representatives
  • Continual update of customer profile information in CRM database
  • Contribute toward team efforts to meet pre-established goals

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

      • Bright, energetic and detail-oriented
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
      • Professional attitude and polished telephone communication skills
      • Must be computer literate using common business applications, including Word, Excel and email
      • Business-to-business sales &/or technical experience a plus
      • Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco or St Louis
